Upcoming Star Party Status

Much to our regret, Tonight's star party is canceled.

We have revised this season's schedule to add make-up events for the star parties that were canceled due to weather. (See the new schedule below.)

The next star party is scheduled for Saturday, March 9th, at Peralta Trail Elementary School from 7:30 to 9:30pm.
It's a little too early to try to predict what the weather will look like at that time. But, March typically shows improvement.

Be sure to check back later in the week or next week for any updates.
And, as always, register in the
Notification Group to receive a cancellation email or other update notice.

The current 10-day forecast can be found here:
https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/us/az/apache-junction/KAZAPACH4?cm_ven=localwx_10day

As a reminder, occasionally we schedule an unplanned event, such as Sun Parties (for solar observing) and a couple Moon Parties. As you can see,  we have added a few public star parties for the Mar-April-May timeframe.

So, to be kept informed of these “impromptu” events and schedule changes, please join our public Notification group by visiting https://groups.io/g/SuperMtnAstro-Notify/join and submitting your email address.

Please see the schedule below and re-visit this site periodically for any updates. And, again, you can enroll in the above mentioned notification list to receive any updates,  cancellation notices or announcements of unscheduled events by visiting  https://groups.io/g/SuperMtnAstro-Notify/join  and submitting your email address.

Please monitor this page for any status changes as each star party date approaches.
The status of all upcoming star parties and any cancellation notices, if necessary, will be posted on this page.

Please see the "Current Event Schedule" below for details about future events.
